Free-form group workspaces
Teachers can turn ANY lesson page into a free-form workspace where students can collaborate and contribute in pairs, groups, or as a whole-class. Plus, teachers can track ALL contributions via attributions.
Nearpod does not offer shared workspaces for free-form student collaboration.
Free-form individual contribution in digital handouts
Students can contribute to digital handouts with ink, text, shapes and lines, web and video links, and safe-searched online images.
Students are limited in the ways that they can interact with content or respond to polling questions depending on the activity type in Nearpod.
Whole-class brainstorming and discussion
With Shout It Out, teachers can facilitate a group brainstorm, poll, or discussion. All student contributions can be tracked.
