Dr. Anne Preston is a research fellow in digital learning and education at Newcastle University. She works with SOLE (Self Organized Learning Environment) Central and Open Lab in the design and evaluation of technologies to support the future of learning and digital education.
James Stanfield has recently played a leading role in setting up SOLE Central. He is now working with Professor Sugata Mitra, helping to develop SOLES, the School in the Cloud web platform and the concept of education as a spontaneous order.
Don Passey’s research has looked at how digital technologies can be used to support students who find it hard to learn. He is the Director of Studies of the E-Research and Technology Enhanced Learning doctoral programme.
Miles Berry is the Principal lecturer and the subject leader for Computing Education at the University of Roehampton and a Fellow of the British Computer Society. He was also part of the drafting groups for computing in the 2014 national curriculum.
